Software Engineer (Full-Stack)
Build the workspace divorce professionals open every morning. Backend, frontend, schema design, infrastructure — we ship across the stack.
Locations: Seattle · San Francisco · Los Angeles · New York · Remote (US) · Compensation: $170k – $240k base + equity · Legal-tech experience not required.
What you’ll do
- Design and ship product features end-to-end: schema, API, UI, tests, telemetry.
- Own a slice of the system (e.g. billing, document handling, calendar sync, audit logs).
- Improve developer experience for the rest of the team — faster builds, better tests, cleaner abstractions.
- Participate in on-call rotations once you’ve got a feel for the codebase.
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years writing production code in a typed language (TypeScript, Go, Kotlin, Swift, or PHP) and SQL.
- Strong opinions about readable code, weakly held when challenged.
- Experience designing relational schemas that survive contact with reality.
- Care about the user — you understand what you’re shipping and why.
Nice to have
- Have worked on a SaaS product that handles billing, payments, or document storage.
- Background in security-conscious environments (auth, audit, encryption-at-rest).
- Comfort with one or more of: Laravel, Next.js, React Native, AWS, Kubernetes.
